WHAT is the Exclusive Marketplace Connection?

Instead of an expo hall open to all attendees -- AzLA will host several events exclusive to invited vendors and provider member decision-makers.


WHY the change from the traditional trade show?

For vendors, this unique format:

  • Creates the optimum environment for networking and building relationships with key decision makers
  • It also maximizes their time – no waiting around the exhibit hall for provider members to visit between sessions
  • No cost to ship exhibit booth supplies / equipment

For providers:

  • This is an invaluable opportunity to dialog with industry-leading vendors
  • Intimate opportunities to learn about new products and solutions to the challenges they face every day

    WHO is invited to participate in the Exclusive Marketplace Connection?

    • Vendors chosen (from the online Vendor Marketplace Catalog) by Provider Member decision-makers
    • Provider Member decision-makers identified by Arizona LeadingAge

    EXCLUSIVE MARKETPLACE CONNECTION EVENTS

    Where are the Exclusive Marketplace Connection events?

    • The Connection events will be held in the same place as the expo hall in previous years
    • Instead of booths - vendors & Provider Member decision-makers will meet at tables
    • Not open to the general conference attendees
    • Participating vendors and Provider Member decision-makers will have different badges than other conference attendees, this badge will serve as their “admission ticket”

    When are the Exclusive Marketplace Connection events?

    • Day 1, Wednesday, May 17, 2023: 
      • Morning Meetings
        • Scheduled meetings
        • Impromptu meetings, similar to speed-dating without the bell
        • Meetings are before conference sessions
      • Private Lunch
      • Late afternoon / evening Private Reception
        • After conference sessions
    • Day 2, Thursday, May 18, 2023: 
      • Private Breakfast
      • Morning Meetings
        • Scheduled meetings
        • Impromptu meetings, similar to speed-dating without the bell
        • Meetings are before conference sessions



      VENDOR SELECTION & FOLLOW UP PROCESS

      Key Dates:

      • January 28, 2023:  Deadline to submit for Catalog Listing
      • February-March 2023: Provider Member Decision-makers choose Vendors to meet
      • March 2023: AzLA to notify Vendors if chosen
      • April 2023: Vendors commit to participating  
      • April 30,2023: Deadline for AzLA to receive items for Conference Attendee tote bags
      • May 17 & 18, 2023: Exclusive Marketplace Connection events


      If Chosen, Vendor Commitment/Registration:**

      • Free for AzLA Gold Business Members
      • Free for AzLA Silver Business Members
      • $1500 for AzLA Bronze Business Members
      • $2450 for non-members

      **Vendor Registration Includes:

        • Admission for 2 Individuals for:
          • All Exclusive Marketplace Connection events
          • All Conference Sessions
          • All General Session Meals
          • The Experience Room
          • AzLA Membership Meeting
          • AzLA Awards Luncheon


      If NOT Chosen, Vendor Opportunities:

      • For a fee, may attend the Exclusive Marketplace Reception
      • Discounted rate to attend Conference Sessions
      • Variety of Sponsorship Opportunities, including  Session Sponsor with platform time
