DispatchHealth is the newest Arizona LeadingAge member, and they provide on-demand urgent care in the home in an effort to reduce unnecessary ER visits and hospitalizations. They send ER-trained practitioners to the home or place of need and can perform on-site laboratory testing, IV fluids, splinting, stitches, staples, nasal packing and cautery, I&D abscess, IV antibiotics, infectious disease testing, and much more. DispatchHealth acts as an extension of primary care and home health and partners with these groups to help keep their patients out of the ER whenever possible. Their teams work closely with senior living communities to be a resource for their staff and residents when an acute healthcare need arises. They accept all major health insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, and will bill directly.
