Arizona LeadingAge Advocacy
Arizona LeadingAge is a trade association that advocates for public policies that remove barriers to care, develop new services, improve fair reimbursement, and make Arizona a great place to grow old. Arizona LeadingAge tracks legislation and regulatory updates to ensure that policy makers understand how changes will impact our members and the aging community they serve.
Our members are our strongest advocates, educating and motivating legislators and other policymakers to do the right thing for the right reasons.
Our advocacy efforts are led by our Lobbyist, Mr. Don Isaacson, from Isaacson Law Firm, P.C. and our Policy & Governmental Affairs Committee Chair, Tom Winkelman, CEO of Westminster Village. Isaacson Law Firm, P.C., is one of Arizona's leading lobbying firms. Over the last 30 years, Don has represented Arizona LeadingAge in achieving positive legislative and regulatory results through strong relations among legislators and key government staff throughout the Arizona state government. Isaacson Law Firm consistently ranks among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Law Firms, is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in its Bar Register of Preeminent Firms. For five of the past six years, Don Isaacson has been recognized by the Arizona Capitol Times as Arizona’s Best Male Lobbyist.
As a tool for our membership, Arizona LeadingAge has established a PAC (Political Action Committee). Click here to learn more about the Arizona LeadingAge PAC.
