Voting Membership
A voting membership in Arizona LeadingAge shall be available to licensed mission-based nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, CCRC/Life Plan communities, and other mission-based senior housing and elderly services providers in the State of Arizona, and have paid their current dues. If the prospective member is part of a multi-facility organization, all eligible facilities of that organization shall be members unless the Board of Directors grants special exception. Each facility of a multi-facility organization will be considered as a separate member. Each facility shall have one vote.

How Dues are Calculated:
Arizona LeadingAge has changed how member dues are calculated. Dues will now be calculated by the number of beds/units. HUD/Affordable Housing Communities will pay a flat fee based upon the number of units as described below.
For 2024, not-for-profit provider member dues are calculated based on the following bed/units count:
For 2024, the Board of Directors has set a maximum dues amount for not-for-profit provider members at $11,750, and a minimum dues amount of $250.
How National LeadingAge Dues are Calculated:
National LeadingAge continues to use the IRS 990 program revenue amount to calculate the national dues. Find your "program revenue" on your last 990 Form.

Proprietary Membership
Proprietary affiliation shall be available to investor-owned licensed facilities and to investor-owned residential communities. These affiliates may serve on committees and are eligible to serve as a member-at-large on the Board of Directors but may not hold an officer position.
Benefits of Proprietary Membership
Annual Membership Fee: To be calculated based on number of units/beds. SNF Beds - $55; AL Units - $35; IL Units - $15. Plus a base fee $350.

Arizona LeadingAge’s general affiliate membership is open to mission-based provider organizations in the planning/construction stage, or non-institutional senior service providers.

Individual Affiliate Member
Individual affiliates may not be qualified for any other categories of membership. The individual membership is open to anyone who has an on-going interest in the goals and mission of Arizona LeadingAge. The individual may not currently be employed by any facility/community or business that meets any other Arizona LeadingAge membership criteria but chooses not to belong. Students, including those who are currently in Administrator-in-Training programs, may affiliate as individual members. Individual affiliates may serve on committees and are eligible to serve as a member-at-large on the Board of Directors but may not hold an officer position.

A non-voting membership in Arizona LeadingAge shall be available to organizations and individuals as defined below.

Arizona LeadingAge’s business membership is open to companies who provide products and services to our provider members.
