What will you do if the media shows up wanting to speak about a covid outbreak at your facility?
For many of our members, that could be a very real possibility. This 30-minute workshop will give advice about how to speak with the media. It will also go over some basics of crisis communication.

Topics will include:

• Understanding different forms of media
• Advice on how to pivot to your message
• Understanding that the pause is your friend
• Reinforcing the five key points of crisis communication

Presenter: Rick DeBruhl
Mr. DeBruhl is has four decades of media experience. In addition, he has also worked as the Chief Communication Officer for a statewide organization. He is certified in crisis communication and has a master’s degree in media management.
