ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

This 6-week webinar series runs March – April 2023 and focuses on skill building for serving effectively as the Director of Nursing with an emphasis on effective leadership and staff engagement, nursing operations and systems of care for common conditions treated in the LTC setting. Guidance will include strategies for avoiding common deficiencies, staff training/competency, performance improvement and QA activities targeting QM areas, fundamentals of SNF/LTC reimbursement and oversight of MDS performance and promoting 5-star quality. This session will provide an overview of daily responsibilities and expectations as we examine a day in the life of an effective DON.

LEARNINING OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this session, the individual will be able:

Review common day-to-day responsibilities of the DON
Describe processes for nursing systems oversight
Implement an effective strategic planning process

These recordings will be made available to paid registrants at no additional charge. Recordings are typically available within one week of the live webinar session. Webinar Recording Procedure:

- No CE is granted for viewing recorded webinars.

Participants may register for each session individually or register for the full series at a discounted rate. Registration for the live webinars includes access to the webinar recording (note: no CEU is granted for viewing recorded webinars).

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Registrations are fully transferable. Transfers must be submitted via email Kelsie Lane no later than 48 hours prior to the Webinar.
A full refund will be given to all cancellations received 10 or more business days prior to the program.
A $15 administrative fee will be charged to all cancellations received six to nine business days prior to the program.
No refunds will be given to cancellations received five or fewer business days prior to the program.
Arizona LeadingAge reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment in which case pre-registered participants will be notified and full refunds provided.
No-shows will be billed. No refunds for failure to log-in at the time of the event.
