Caregiver Training Program

Arizona LeadingAge offers a Caregiver Training Program, the cost of the program is $600 for Members of Arizona LeadingAge and $750 for Non-Members including the $65 testing fee and $50 program registration fee.

A student price is available to those that submit a valid course schedule.

Arizona LeadingAge is excited to announce a partnership with Nevvon for 41 of the 62 hours of the Caregiver Training Program online.

The total required training hours for individuals is 62 hours.

Arizona LeadingAge offers this program in partnership with Sun Health, Beatitudes Campus, Westminster Village, La Posada at Park Centre, PharmcareUSA, and Saliba's Extended Care Pharmacy.

Application Criteria

Pre-requisite for the Caregiver Training program is to have a valid form of ID, a copy of your Social Security card, a valid fingerprint clearance card, and an Arizona food handler's card.

Caregiver Training Program Structure

Application: Complete the application.

*Applications will be processed Monday - Friday 9 AM - 3 PM*

Step One: Submit the registration packet with additional documents.
Step Two: Attend, study, and complete the online curriculum.
Step Three: Attend, study, and complete the in-person curriculum and skills training.
Step Four: Arizona LeadingAge will register the individual for the State Exam.
Step Five: Take the state exam and pass!

Why would you want to become a Caregiver?

Not only are caregivers in high demand, caregivers can eventually become Assisted Living Manager, Executive Directors, and more.

Cancellation & No-Shows

A full refund will be given to all cancellations received 10 or more business days prior to the program.
A $25 administrative fee will be charged to all cancellations received six to nine business days prior to the program.
No refunds will be given to cancellations received five or fewer business days prior to the program.
Arizona LeadingAge reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment in which case pre-registered participants will be notified and credits will be applied to that individuals account.
No-shows will be billed. No refunds for failure to show up at the time of the event.
